Nat is married to Helen and they have four children: Miriam, Christopher, Bethany and Isaac. Nat has a D.Phil in Neuroscience (Green College, Oxford, Graduate Award), and MA degrees in both Experimental Psychology (Pembroke College, Oxford, Exhibition Awarded) and Theology (Oak Hill College, London). Nat also completed the Cornhill Training Course.
While at university, Nat was the president of the Oxford Inter Collegiate Christian Union and chair of the Triennial mission -‐ Illumination (2000). Nat was ordained in the Church of England in 2000, where he served as curate at St. James Gerrards Cross with St. James Fulmer until the end of 2004. Nat has taught in Bible colleges and at conferences in Hungary, Serbia, India, UK, Nigeria, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania and South Africa.
Nat and Helen moved to South Africa at the beginning of 2005 to start the Johannesburg Bible College. Nat enjoys the bush and wildlife, photography, and inventing games -‐ he created the board game 'Oxford by Degrees'.
