AUCKLAND PARK - Johannesburg Bible College had its annual graduation service on Friday 6th November. “Cheered on by friends, family and church leaders, 32 students received their certificates and a Bible each - an acknowledgement of all their hard work and learning,” Glenn Nesbitt, JBC lecturer said. Those present enjoyed addresses from the college principal, Rev. Dr. Nat Schluter, and guest speaker, Rev. Celumusa Zulu.
Millycent Mokgokong reflected on her time at college. “Being at JBC has been a blessing. I have learned so much, all the courses are so inspiring.” Fellow graduate Glory Selloane said, “It is a privilege to be among the students and the staff members. They are like a family to me.” According to Nesbitt, 24 of the graduates had completed the one-year morning programme at JBC’s campus in Auckland Park. The other eight were from the Soweto campus, where students study for three years as the classes only meet on two evenings. “The Johannesburg Bible College is an interdenominational college seeking to equip and inspire men and women for Bible teaching ministries. Students come from a variety of educational, social, ethnic and theological backgrounds,” said Nesbitt. Details: Johannesburg Bible College, 011 830 0820.
